The National Network for Services for Persons with Disabilities cooperates with Asmae and City Caritas to support entrepreneurs with disabilities

Within the framework of unifying efforts to integrate persons with disabilities into the labor market, the National Network for Rehabilitation Services for Persons with Disabilities is collaborating with the Youth Integration and Empowerment Project, implemented by Asmae Egypt Soeur Emmanuelle, in partnership with City Caritas Egypt. The network offers digital services for networking and joining persons with disabilities with rehabilitation and training service providers which providing access to the project's target group of entrepreneurs and small business owners with disabilities.

The Youth Integration and Empowerment Project aims to enhance the skills of young people by providing them with craftsmanship and professional skills that enable them to enter the labor market, achieve a sustainable source of income, and achieve a decent life. Within this framework, the project offers a package of training to enhance life skills, support specialized vocational training, and a range of entrepreneurship training. It also offers numerous opportunities for financing

and establishing microenterprises and encouraging entrepreneurship and small businesses among young people with disabilities.

This week, the National Network for Services for Persons with Disabilities, in cooperation with the Asmae Foundation, participated in evaluating projects submitted by young candidates with disabilities. Fifteen applicants were selected through the National Network for Services for Persons with Disabilities' electronic platform. They are being trained by City Caritas, and the projects receiving funding will be determined at a later date. With this collaboration, the network

achieves one of its most important goals: a unified electronic portal connecting people with disabilities with training and rehabilitation opportunities provided by supporting institutions. This aims to enhance their competitiveness and help them enter the labor market and access opportunities that match their skills and abilities.
