Digital Citizenship & Internet protection

The interest of digital citizenship and internet protection has come since several years, the Ministry of Communications & Informations Technology exerted severe efforts to participate in building digital Egypt by launching several initiatives and community projects that enhance digital transformation operation in the community and contributes in practicing digital culture in appositive and interactive image for all categories of community.
Since 2019, the digital community development projects had guided a responsibility of managing the creator of related axis to '' protecting kids in the internet on the national level '' by coordinating with International UNICEF Authority which organized a number of coordinating meetings to set up working plan of common framework on the national level for positive practices in the internet specially for kids and youth.
With the increasing joint of the meaning of digital citizenship that can be used technology and the digital mediators in an interactive, responsible, and safe manner. Working on launching the digital citizenship initiative  and protection in the internet which cares for working on building a digital citizen active and aware of rights and responsibilities, life opportunities, and learning in digital joint world through which he can work and create in a responsible, ethical, lawful, and safe ways.
The full meaning of digital citizenship relies on a set of dimensions that shape thoroughly this full conception of digital citizenship. These dimensions form as follows:
Digital communications, learning related to technology teaching and its usage, digital reaching, e – trade, responsibility of digital practices, digital rights, and digital safety in technology usage.
Also digital citizenship application requires knowledge and proficiency number of basic skills that contain digital identity building, critical thinking, content evaluation, Soprano security management, and protecting privacy in the internet. Working out of initiative mechanisms, the digital community development projects launched an electronic gate    2) for digital citizenship under the slogan '' aware digital citizen'' targeting in a basic form into raising community awareness of basic skills for digital citizenship which enables citizens of reaching to information and using it in an effective way. That will enable them of benefiting from the developed digital governmental services and feeling of trust in digital environment as well as developing the ability of building digital identity and managing it through the internet, ownership the necessary tools to protect personal data, and risks management that joint with digital environment with ways of its protection. Besides working on developing number of partnerships locally and internationally with the concerned authorities of the ministries, civil society Authorities, private sector and technology companies for establishing work frameworks and developing strategies about digital citizenship.
