2024 Annual Planning Meeting for the Partners of the Tawar Wa Ghair Initiative

Over three days and under the slogan "Develop your skills, change the world", the annual planning meeting for the partners of the Tawar Wa Ghair Initiative for the year 2024 was held, which is implemented in partnership between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with Microsoft and Care Egypt Foundation for Development, from January 11 to 13, 2024, in the presence of representatives of the partners, administrators and trainers of the initiative.

During the meeting, the partners discussed the initiative's plan for the year 2024, the expected objectives of the various training programs in both technological and professional training units, the content of the training programs directed at youth in the various governorates and the importance of developing new ideas to keep pace with the technological needs and requirements in the freelance labor market.

In addition to reviewing the new technological tools provided by Microsoft, related to artificial intelligence applications and ways to integrate them into the training programs provided to youth in order to further build their capabilities with professional knowledge and renewable technological skills and provide them with real opportunities to innovate in the labor market and compete strongly in it.
Certificates of appreciation and honor were also distributed to the initiative’s trainers and administrators in appreciation of their efforts to make the initiative’s activities a success to empower youth during 2023. The “Develop and Change” initiative aims to develop youth’s technological skills according to the needs of the labor market and the need to eradicate digital illiteracy and provide training and capacity building opportunities in order to create more job opportunities.
