
Celebrating the achievements of the "Tawar wa Ghayar" initiative for the year 2024 and the end of the training camp to develop the capabilities of trainers in partnership between Communications and Information Technology, Youth and Sports, Microsoft and Care Egypt

Over the course of three consecutive days, more than 334 young men and women from the “Develop and Change" ( Tawar wa Ghayar) initiative met in the training camp activities to develop the capabilities of administrators and professional trainers from the Ministries of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Communications and Informations Technology, in partnership with Care Egypt and Microsoft.
The camp concluded on Monday with a ceremony witnessed by the Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Advisor to the MCIT Minister for Digital Community Development Eng.Hoda Dahroug, the CEO of CARE Egypt Foundation for Development Viviane Thabet, and a number of public leaders and figures.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, praised the ( Tawar wa Ghayar) initiative, which is one of the most prominent development initiatives and projects that reflect the state's commitment to qualifying young people and empowering
them with skills that keep pace with the requirements of the modern labor market.
He also stressed the importance of digital transformation as a key element in building the capabilities of young people, and the importance of integrating technology into specialized education and training tracks to ensure that they keep pace with global developments, and that the initiative represents a qualitative leap
in enabling Egyptian youth to achieve their dreams and ambitions in the fields of informations technology and programming.
In her speech, the Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Informations Technology stressed the role of the initiative in supporting digital transformation in
Egypt and its contribution to training administrative cadres, explaining that "Develop and Change" has become a successful model for developing the capabilities of young people, expressing her pride in the achievements made during the project, reaching more than 717,000 young men and women during 2024, noting that the initiative represents the fruit of more than 10 years of efforts, and that this celebration comes in parallel with the 5th anniversary of cooperation with Kayan Foundation and Microsoft.
She stressed that this cooperation reflects the state's strategic vision towards transforming Egypt into a digital state, as digital transformation has become an essential part of the work of all ministries, helping to provide services to a wide segment of society.
In the same context, she pointed out that artificial intelligence has become an integral part of daily life, stressing that the "Develop and Change" initiative has an active role in qualifying administrators in various state sectors, and creating new job opportunities for young people, as the initiative has turned into an inspiring slogan for ambitious youth, with its aim to develop the government work system
and enhance the efficiency of institutions in line with global digital transformations.
The specialized training camp, which was held to develop the capabilities of trainers and professional administrators at the initiative of the Ministry of
Communications and Informations Technology with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, aimed to increase the awareness of trainers about the concept of artificial intelligence and develop their capabilities in this field, by enhancing the
understanding of the practical applications of artificial intelligence in projects, in addition to developing the professional skills of administrators, and developing
their emotional intelligence skills and teamwork as an essential part of developing the capabilities of administrative competencies.
