Launching of training camp for Qudwa.Tech women in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ

MCIT Minister’s Advisor for Digital Community Development and Director of the Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development Project in Egypt Eng. Hoda Dahrouj inaugurated the first day of the Qudwah-Tech Ladies Training Camp, which is being held in its first edition for 2025, in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and runs for 6 days from January 29 to February 3, 2025.
During the opening session, the Minister's Advisor welcomed the distinguished group of craftswomen and expressed her happiness to continue the march of support and success between the initiative and women, which has continued since the launch of the initiative in 2019, and is currently being enhanced by new opportunities for integration and cooperation with partners at the local and international levels.
She pointed out the importance of what Qudwah-Tech offers to empower women, that based on MCIT Digital Transformation Strategy and Egypt's Vision 2030 to achieve women's economic and social empowerment and enhance their role in society, the initiative provides technological and training support to craftswomen and small business owners to meet their needs with the newest and latest tools of the digital economy, e-commerce and artificial intelligence applications that enhance them in marketing, design and production, in order to help them keep pace with the rapid changes in the world of digital platforms, applications and technological programs that open wider ranges of opportunity for them and enhance their 
competitiveness in the local and foreign markets.
The Minister's Advisor stressed the importance of the international partnership between the Qudwah-Tech initiative and the project to support e-government and innovation in public administration (InnoPA) to support digital transformation and empower women entrepreneurs technologically, that is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), which comes within the framework of coordination and unification of efforts to empower Egyptian women, build the capacity of women craftswomen of role models, and expand the range of opportunities available to them to develop and support their projects by benefiting from the exchange of experiences and technical and knowledge skills and opening the way for new opportunities for marketing, export and competitiveness in the local and foreign markets for their distinguished cadres. 
It is worth noting that the training camp aims to enhance the understanding of women craft of marketing skills and develop their digital innovation skills through orientation, counseling and professional networking sessions, which are provided by a group of experts specialized in the field of digital marketing, e-commerce and artificial intelligence, in addition to providing the opportunity to network with those experts and exchange experiences and expertise, in a way that enhances the growth of projects, as the camp includes 35 women of craftswomen and entrepreneurs, as well as representatives from startups in the fields of Handmade products and entrepreneurship, large enterprises in the fields of technological solutions, employment and business development.
The activities of the training camp include several diverse tasks, including sessions to review the inspiring success stories of role models, group 
learning sessions, focused discussion circles, training and interactive workshops, lectures on marketing and technological skills for capacity development, which address the latest technologies in the field of digital marketing and e-commerce, the use of artificial intelligence applications, in addition to a range of fun activities to support and develop team spirit.
