Dr. Hala Elsadek, is a professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering since 2012. Master degree was from Gunma University, Japan in 1996 while PhD was with University of California, Irvine, USA in 2002.

Dr Hala Elsadek has a developmental career in digital transformation for Community Development (DT4CD). From Oct. 2006, was nominated by United Nations Development Program in Egypt to work at Ministry of Communication and Information (MCIT) Technology in projects for using ICT to foster digital sustainable socio economic development in Egypt. She led and share in the implementation of more than 35 projects for digital transformation. Those projects gained more than 25 international awards from different developmental entities worldwide. She is currently acting as a director of Central Department of Digital Community Development at Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

She is also acting now as Microstrip Department head at Electronics Research Institute, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Research Her interests are in the field of wireless communications.  Published six books’ chapters, has six patents and acts as author in more than 190 research papers. Dr Elsadek participates in more than 30 research projects at the national and international levels. Her Scopus h- index is 21with google scholar citations 1756. She also is Acting as Adjunct Professor at School of Science and Engineering, AUC, Egypt since Spring. She shared in several strategic studies preparation as the “Strategic plan for Science and Technology park at Electronics Research Institute (STPERI)” in cooperation with KSP (knowledge Sharing Program) funded by the Center of International Development, Korean Development Institute KDI from April to September 2021.

Dr Elsadek has a career for supporting innovation and connecting research outputs with industry and markets Since 2016. She acted as leader of Technology Innovation Commercialization office (TICO) at Electronics Research Institute for 4 years. From 2017 to 2024, She was the founder and leader of the TARIEIC Incubator program which is the first governmental program for supporting innovators and startups in electronics industry in Egypt. Also from 2020, she leads the Entrepreneurial Club (E-club) program. Recently, she is acting as an Advisory Board Member in PTS Holdings and as an Archangel Investor and in Core Angels MEA.
